Jack and The Nanobot Beanstalk

Here are some character designs I did of Jack and the Nanobot Beanstalk. I set the story in the future and the beanstalk is created by nano technology, Jack brings the Milk a Tron 4000 down to the market and he trades it for the Nanobot Beanstalk which Jack’s mother is not too pleased about. The first image is Jack’s mother next to her is the Milk a Tron 4000 then it’s the chicken that lays the golden eggs then it’s the harp who conducts himself and then it’s Jack as he is very lazy and doesn’t want to walk anywhere he has wheels on his shoes and a rocket pack on his back, he is holding the orb with the nano technology which becomes the beanstalk. I wanted Jack to look like he is not the sharpest tool in the box. The next image is of the giant and his wife who doesn’t want him to eat Jack. It was fun to draw the giants. Hope you like it.

Hansel and Gretel Character Designs

Here are the Hansel and Gretel character designs I did. I see the stepmother as the real villain of the piece, she is starving Hansel and Gretel behind the fathers back to try to force them to leave the house so I wanted to make her like a nasty piece of work and I wanted to make the witch look really horrible because after all she is trying to eat Hansel and Gretel. I wanted to give her a pet and I thought a wild boar would suite her, also I wanted to make Hansel and Gretel look hungry. On the left is the father who is unaware of what is going on around him next is the stepmother then it’s Hansel and Gretel the second image is the witch with her wild boar. Hope you like it.

Goldilocks and The Three Bears Character Concepts

Here is goldilocks and the three bears character concepts. On the left is goldilocks then honey T bear next to her is her son teddy T bear and his father Grizzly T bear. The story is set at a truck stop goldilocks sneaks into the bears house while the mother and father are at work and teddy is playing baseball outside. I wanted to portray goldilocks as a spoiled brat who turns her nose up at everything and destroys the bears house. Hope you like it.

Rumpelstiltskin Character Designs

Here is some Rumpelsitiltskin Character Designs I did up, I wanted to design rumpelstiltskin because it's always interesting to draw creatures. The man on the left is the beautiful girls father who is pretending to be more important than he is beside him is rumpelstiltskin and the little prince beside him is his mother and father the beautiful girl and the greedy gold loving king. Hope you like it.

Little Red Riding Hood Chatacter Designs

While I am looking for work, I am setting myself some challenges to get better at character designing. I'm trying to do designs from different stories, I'm starting with Little Red Riding Hood I've set the story in the 1950's the wolf has just robbed a vacuum salesman so that he can trick the granny into letting him into her house. The first image are designs of red riding, her mother and father, and her grandmother. The second image are designs of the wolf and the woodsmen and the third image is the process of how I draw up the image I start of with scribbles in my sketch book then I rough the drawing up more and then finish it in flash. The third image is the process of drawing the grandmother. HOPE YOU LIKE THEM.
